Notasulga completed the 2015 season with a 9-3 record. Last year Notasulga captured the region three title and a number one seed in the Class 1A playoffs. They finished region play with a 5-0 record. Notasulga reached the second round of the playoffs before falling to Linden by a score of 26-14. Since 2010, Notasulga has gone a combined 41-28. Their 59.0% winning percentage ranks 16th in Class 1A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Notasulga has managed to compile a record of 152-129. Their 54.0% winning percentage ranks 17th in Class 1A and 138th in the AHSAA. The Blue Devils are led by head coach Anthony Jones who is entering his second season at the helm. His team finished with a 9-3 record in his first season at Notasulga. Under his direction the Blue Devils have qualified for the playoffs once. They have won one region crown with Coach Jones. Last year the Reeltown Rebels finished with an overall record of 6-5 and in fourth place in Class 2A region five. The Rebels lost in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs to Cleveland by a score of 23-20. Notasulga and Reeltown have met a total of 68 times on the football field. The Blue Devils have a 27-40-1 record against the Rebels. They last met in 2013 with Reeltown winning by a score of 39-12. Notasulga returns 1A All-State Senior running back Gary Cook.
