Daleville completed the 2016 season with a 8-3 record. With their 6-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 3A region two, the Warhawks earned a spot in the playoffs in 2016. Daleville's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Bayside Academy by a score of 21-14. Since 2010, Daleville has gone a combined 50-26. Their 66.0% winning percentage ranks 11th in Class 3A over the past seven seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Daleville has managed to compile a record of 179-114. Their 61.0% winning percentage ranks 8th in Class 3A and 84th in the AHSAA. Josh Parrish leaves Daleville after three seasons to accept the head coaching job at Northview High. His teams finished a combined 23-11 but just 1-3 in the playoffs. Rob Armstrong takes over the helm at Daleville. He was the head football coach at Rutherford High in Panama City FL the last three years with a 6-25 record. The Daleville Warhawks will play in Class 3A region two during the 2017 season. The Warhawks should be in contention for a playoff spot in region two this season. They will be looking to gain an advantage by hosting a first round postseason game. The Warhawks open the 2017 season at home against non-region opponent Carroll on Friday, September 1 at Warhawk Stadium. Last year the Carroll Eagles finished with an overall record of 12-1 and in first place in Class 5A region two. The Eagles lost in the quarter-finals round of the Class 5A playoffs to Beauregard by a score of 56-21. Daleville and Carroll have met a total of 12 times on the football field.
