2013 Season Scoring Averages

There are 30 teams averaging over 40 points a game through six weeks of play this season. Calera jumps to the lead by averaging 58.3 points per game followed by Maplesville at 55.7 and Marion County with an average of 53.5. On the bottom of the pile are Lyman Ward (3.0), Cottage Hill Christian (3.3) and Holt (4.0).

Muscle Shoals saw their points allowed average jump to 2.7 when the defense allowed nine points to a very good Hartselle team on Friday night.On the other end, the Lynn defense is giving up an average of 55.3 points per game during the first six weeks of the 2013 season.

Maplesville still leads in point differential average by defeating five opponents by an average of 47.7 points. Calera is second with an average winning margin of 47.5 in their six wins.
