Goshen completed the 2016 season with a 8-4 record. With their 4-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 2A region three, the Eagles earned a spot in the playoffs in 2016. Goshen reached the second round of the playoffs before falling to Southern Choctaw by a score of 34-14.

The Eagles won as many games as in any season since 2010.

Since 2010, Goshen has gone a combined 44-35. Their 56.0% winning percentage ranks 19th in Class 2A over the past seven seasons.

Over the past 25 seasons, Goshen has managed to compile a record of 156-128. Their 55.0% winning percentage ranks 15th in Class 2A and 132nd in the AHSAA.

The Eagles are led by head coach Bart Snyder who is entering his ninth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 52-39 over the past eight seasons at Goshen. Under his direction the Eagles have qualified for the playoffs a total of eight times. They have not won a region crown with Coach Snyder.

Coach Snyder's overall record as a head football coach in eight season stands at 52-39 (57.1%).

The Goshen Eagles will play in Class 2A region three during the 2017 season.

The Eagles will be in the mix for one of the last two playoff spots in region three this season. They have qualified for the playoffs every year since 2007 and are hopeful to continue that streak in 2017.

The Eagles open the 2017 season on the road against non-region opponent Ariton on Friday, September 1 at Robert F. Zumstien Stadium. Last year the Ariton Purple Cats finished with an overall record of 6-5 and in third place in Class 2A region two.
