Theodore completed the 2015 season with a 7-4 record. With their 5-3 region record and a third place finish in Class 7A region one, the Bobcats earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Theodore's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Auburn by a score of 45-15. The Bobcats improved in 2015 with their first winning season since 2010. The Bobcats won as many games as in any season since 2009. It marked the first time since the 2010 season that the Bobcats qualified for the playoffs. The Bobcats hope to continue the success they had last season. Coach Collier saw improvement as they won seven games following a 0-10 record in 2014. Since 2010, Theodore has gone a combined 22-38. Their 37.0% winning percentage ranks 24th in Class 7A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Theodore has managed to compile a record of 159-115. Their 58.0% winning percentage ranks 14th in Class 7A and 106th in the AHSAA. The Bobcats are led by head coach Eric Collier who is entering his fourth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 11-20 over the past three seasons at Theodore. Under his direction the Bobcats have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Collier. Last year the Mary Montgomery Vikings finished with an overall record of 3-7 and in eighth place in Class 7A region one. The Vikings closed out the regular season with a loss to Vigor by a score of 21-15. Theodore and Mary Montgomery have met a total of 67 times on the football field. The Bobcats have a 41-24-2 record against the Vikings. They last met in 2015 with Theodore winning by a score of 42-7.
