With their 4-4 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 7A region 1, the Lions earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Foley's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Central Phenix City by a score of 34-14. Averaging over ten wins a season since 2010, Foley has gone a combined 44-27. Their 62.0% winning percentage ranks 11th in Class 7A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Foley has managed to compile a record of 144-127. Their 53.0% winning percentage ranks 19th in Class 7A and 155th in the AHSAA. The Lions are led by head coach Tad Niblett who is entering his first season at the helm. His team finished with a 6-5 record in his first season at Foley. Under his direction the Lions have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Niblett. Coach Niblett's overall record as a head football coach in eight seasons stands at 42-46 (47.7%). Last year the Robertsdale Golden Bears finished with an overall record of 1-9 and in seventh place in Class 6A region 1. The closed out the regular season with a loss to Baldwin County by a score of 21-18. Foley and Robertsdale have met a total of 100 times on the football field.
