Murphy and Alma Bryant have met a total of 24 times on the football field. The Panthers have a 19-5-0 record against the Hurricanes. They last met in 2020 with Murphy winning by a score of 14-13. Murphy returns 7A All-State Senior linebacker Kendric Haynes. He was named to the second team last season. The Panthers also return Senior defensive lineman Neil Farrell.
