Alabama All-Star Game

1968

Pat Sullivan, the passer, and Terry Beasley, the receiver, spent their game-time becoming acquainted. As Auburn scouts in the stands filled with self-satisfaction, smiled -- the superstars teamed up for three touchdowns to give the South a 27-7 victory over the North in the 1968 High School Football Game. Both players, two of the most sought after of last year's crop of high school seniors, had signed football grants-in-aid with Auburn University.

The Sullivan-to-Beasley scoring strikes covered 31, 28, and 26 yards and gave the South a 10-9-2 advantage in the twenty-one year old series on a humid night before 16,834 spectators.
