            Patterson played two years of varsity football. He was All-City, 2 years; All-TVC, 2 years; Honorable Mention All-State (1 year) AP Back of the Week. Patterson passed for 2,836 yards and 32 touchdowns his last two seasons as quarterback at Huntsville.
