Midfield completed the 2015 season with a 6-4 record. With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 3A region three, the Patriots earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Midfield's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Opp by a score of 49-20. Since 2010, Midfield has gone a combined 34-31. Their 52.0% winning percentage ranks 28th in Class 3A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Midfield has managed to compile a record of 173-113. Their 60.0% winning percentage ranks 11th in Class 3A and 87th in the AHSAA. Their last losing season was 2010. The Patriots are led by head coach Rod Isaac who is entering his sixth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 32-23 over the past five seasons at Midfield. Under his direction the Patriots have qualified for the playoffs a total of five times. They have won one region crown with Coach Isaac. The Wildcats closed out the regular season with a loss to Shelby County by a score of 52-14. Midfield and Tarrant have met a total of 38 times on the football field.
