 2026 Preview

Red Level finished the 2025 season with a disappointing 3-7 record. Last year Red Level finished eighth in Class 1A region two with a 1-6 region record and failed to qualify for the playoffs.

The Tigers have not qualified for the playoffs since the 2010 season and would love to end that streak this year. The Tigers last playoff victory came during the 2006 season. They would love to break through this year with a post season win.

Red Level was inconsistent offensively last year and they need some improvement if the Tigers want to be competitive. They only averaged 19.3 points a game.

Red Level struggled on the defensive side of the football last year. The defense found little success in stopping opposing offenses as they gave up an average of 38.2 points a game.

Since 2010, the Red Level football program has struggled with a record of 38-121.

Over the past 25 seasons, Red Level has managed to compile a record of 93-168. Their 36.0% winning percentage ranks 43rd in Class 1A and 305th in the AHSAA.

Coaching Change:
Kenny Skipper  leaves Red Level after nine seasons with a record of 23-65. His teams failed to reach the playoffs in any season. Skipper will remain with the program as the school's athletic director.

2026 Head Coach:
Griffin Windham  begins this next chapter with strong familiarity with the Red Level football program having served as an assistant. Windham coached football and basketball at Red Level High School.

Season Outlook:

The Red Level Tigers will play in Class 1A region four during the 2026 season.

This season, the Tigers will be a long shot for one of the four playoff spots in region four.

Season Opener:
The Tigers open the 2026 season on the road against non-region opponent Pleasant Home on Friday, August 21 at Pleasant Home Stadium. Last year the Pleasant Home Eagles finished with an overall record of 2-8 and in seventh place in Class 1A region two. The Eagles closed out the regular season with a loss to Zion Chapel by a score of 21-7.

Red Level and Pleasant Home have met a total of 19 times on the football field. The Tigers have a 11-8-0 record against the Eagles. They last met in 2025 with Pleasant Home winning by a score of 26-22.
