Season Opener:
       The Tigers open the 2026 season at home against non-region opponent Holly Pond on Friday, August 21 at W.R. Sutton Memorial Stadium. Last year the Holly Pond Broncos finished with an overall record of 5-5 and in fifth place in Class 3A region eight. The Broncos ended last season on a positive note with a win over Cleveland by a score of 58-40 after failing to gain a playoff spot.

       J.B. Pennington and Holly Pond have met a total of 45 times on the football field. The Tigers have a 30-15-0 record against the Broncos. They last met in 2021 with J.B. Pennington winning by a score of 49-6.
