Central completed the 2021 season with a 7-4 record. With their 4-3 region record and a third place finish in Class 4A region eight, the Wildcats earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Central's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Good Hope by a score of 27-24. Since 2010, Central has gone a combined 75-57. Their 56.8% winning percentage ranks 25th in Class 4A over the past twelve seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Central has managed to compile a record of 132-135. Their 49.0% winning percentage ranks 31st in Class 4A and 203rd in the AHSAA. The Wildcats are led by head coach Heath Wood who is entering his twelveth season at the helm.
