With their 3-3 region record and a fourth place finish in Class 5A region 3, the Tigers earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Tallassee's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Jackson by a score of 35-7. Averaging over ten wins a season since 2010, Tallassee has gone a combined 43-25. The Tigers open the 2016 season on the road against non-region opponent Russell County on Friday, August 19 at Corbett-Mitchell Stadium. Last year the Russell County Warriors finished with an overall record of 0-10 and in eighth place in Class 6A region 2. The closed out the regular season with a loss to Beauregard by a score of 82-36. Tallassee and Russell County have met a total of 11 times on the football field.
