Week Four of the 2025 football season is in the history books and region play has heated up. Here are a few tidbits from this past week's games.

   *    We are nearing the halfway point of the 2025 football season. The best teams are progressing through the season working hard to grab one of the elusive playoff spots come November.

   *   Look for the Barber Shop Guru predictions on Tuesday. The guys went 9-3 last week with a few difficult games on the slate. Another great job by the guys. You can test your luck in beating them by joining us in the forums.

   *   Since most teams are playing in state now let's look at Alabama's record against other states. Overall the AHSAA schools are 15-9. Here are the records against other states. Georgia (3-5), Florida (8-4), Mississippi (3-0) and South Carolina (1-0).

   *  Did we have some big games this week? You know we did. How about Ramsay shocking Corner 34-14. Pisgah defeated an up and coming Pleasant Valley team 44-20. Gordo got past Winfield 35-21. Jackson once again proved they are a great team with a 28-14 win over 7A Baker.

   *  Hewitt- Trussville took out the Bucs of Hoover 17-14 for their third win in the past four seasons over Hoover. Anniston squeaked past Alexandria 20-18.

   *  The "I did not see that coming category". Moody simply outmanned St. Clair County 55-0. Saraland destroyed Spanish Fort 54-7. Hubbertville defeating Berry Fayette 44-12.
