Dallas County finished the 2025 season with a disappointing 3-7 record. Last year Dallas County finished sixth in Class 3A region three with a 2-5 region record and failed to qualify for the playoffs. The Hornets last playoff victory came during the 2002 season. They would love to break through this year with a post season win. The offense struggled putting points on the score board as Dallas County averaged scoring just 11.4 points a game. Since 2010, the Dallas County football program has struggled with a record of 45-118. Over the past 25 seasons, Dallas County has not won much with a record of 86-172. Their 33.0% winning percentage ranks 56th in Class 2A and 333rd in the AHSAA. Head Coach: The Hornets are led by head coach Darryl Watts who is entering his third season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 8-12 over the past two seasons at Dallas County. The Hornets have yet to reach the playoffs under his direction. They have not won a region crown with Coach Watts. Season Outlook: The Dallas County Hornets will play in Class 2A region three during the 2026 season. The Hornets will need to win a few more games this fall if they hope to grab one of the four playoff slots in region three this season. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
