 2023 Preview 


       Ezekiel Academy completed the 2022 season with a 6-5 record. With their 1-2 region record and a place finish in Class 8 Man region , the Knights earned a spot in the playoffs in 2022. Ezekiel Academy's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Evangel Christian Alabaster by a score of 6-42.

       The Knights lost as many games as in any season since 2014.

      

       Ezekiel Academy is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only ten seasons. They have managed a record of 67-38 over the past ten years.

       Over the past 10 seasons, Ezekiel Academy has managed to compile a record of 67-38. Their 64.0% winning percentage ranks 3rd in Class 8 Man and 2nd in the .




       The Knights will be under the direction of new head football coach David Lawrence as they enter the 2023 season.  

      

       The Knights open the 2023 season at home against non-region opponent Holy Ground Baptist GA on Friday, August 18.

       This will be the first meeting between Ezekiel Academy and Holy Ground Baptist GA on the football field.

      

  


Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Murphy and Theodore battled through seven overtimes before the Panthers came out on top 33-26 in 1979.
