 2022 Preview 


       Lighthouse Home School completed the 2021 season with a 6-2 record.

      

       Lighthouse Home School is a relatively new football program having fielded a team only eight seasons. They have managed a record of 32-40 over the past eight years.




       The Warriors are led by head coach J.J. Duarte who is entering his ninth season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 32-40 over the past eight seasons at Lighthouse Home School. Under his direction the Warriors have qualified for the playoffs a total of two times. They have not won a region crown with Coach Duarte.

       Coach Duarte's overall record as a head football coach in eight season stands at 32-40 (44.4%).

       The Lighthouse Home School Warriors will play in Class 8 Man region during the 2022 season.

      

       The Warriors open the 2022 season at home against non-region opponent Tabernacle on Friday, August 19. Last year the Tabernacle Torches finished with an overall record of 7-4 and in place in Class 8 Man region four. The Torches lost in the first round of the Class 8 Man playoffs to Russell Christian MS by a score of 41-6.

       Lighthouse Home School and Tabernacle have met a total of 4 times on the football field. The Warriors have a 3-1-0 record against the Torches. They last met in 2021 with Lighthouse Home School winning by a score of 42-32.

  


Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Parrish scored a record 77 points in a playoff game against Cedar Bluff in 2001. The Tornados were shutout the following week 19-0 by Courtland.
