2012 Season Scoring Averages

There are 30 teams averaging over 40 points a game through the end of the regular season. Brantley leads the pack by averaging 52.1 points per game followed closely by Tanner at 50.3.  Once again Southeastern has the least effective offense and averages only 1.4 points per game having scores just two touchdowns in their inaugural season in the AHSAA..

Brantley also remains with the most effective defense by allowing a state low 3.3 points per game. Leeds, Wenonah, Muscle Shoals and Ragland are close behind with averages under seven point per game. Eighteen teams are allowing less than 10 points a game. On the other end the Victory Christian defense has been less than stellar by giving up points at the outrageous rate of 54.4 per game.

Brantley once again leads in point differential average by defeating all six opponents by an average of 48.8 points. Second place Tanner has an average of 42.3 per game.
