With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 4A region 5, the Tigers earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. The Tigers won four consecutive playoff games to reach the Class 4A State Championship game in 2015 only to fall just short of claiming a title. They were defeated by Leeds at the Alabama Super Seven 55-7 in Tuscaloosa. The defense allowed a team record 386 points last season. Averaging over ten wins a season since 2010, Fayette County has gone a combined 60-21. Their 74.0% winning percentage ranks 6th in Class 4A over the past six seasons. Over the past 25 seasons, Fayette County has gone a combined 222-85. Their 72.0% winning percentage ranks 5th in Class 4A and 19th in the AHSAA.
