 2016 Preview 


       With their 5-1 region record and a second place finish in Class 5A region 2, the Tigers earned a spot in the playoffs in 2015. Eufaula reached the second round of the playoffs before falling to Jackson by a score of 48-21.

       Averaging over ten wins a season since 2010, Eufaula has gone a combined 47-22. Their 68.0% winning percentage ranks 8th in Class 5A over the past six seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, Eufaula has gone a combined 190-95. Their 67.0% winning percentage ranks 9th in Class 5A and 42nd in the AHSAA.

       The Tigers are led by head coach Bryan Moore who is entering his first season at the helm. His team finished with a 9-3 record in his first season at Eufaula. Under his direction the Tigers have qualified for the playoffs once. They have not won a region crown with Coach Moore.

       Coach Moore's overall record as a head football coach in one seasons stands at 9-3 (75.0%). Over the course of his career, Coach Moore's teams have qualified for the playoffs a total of one time .

      

      The Eufaula Tigers will play in Class 5A region 2 during the 2016 season.

       The Tigers should be considered one of the favorites for the Region 2 championship this season and a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

       The Tigers open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Early County GA on Friday, August 19 at Tigers Stadium.

       Eufaula and Early County GA have met a total of 8 times on the football field. The Tigers have a 6-2-0 record against Early County GA. They last met in 2023 with Eufaula winning by a score of 27-24.

       Eufaula returns 5A All-State Senior kicker Graham Haney. He was named to the honorable mention team last season.
