       Last year Bob Jones captured the region 4 title and a number one seed in the Class 7A playoffs. They finished region play with a 7-0 record. Bob Jones's season came to an end in the first round of the playoffs when they fell to Vestavia Hills by a score of 28-17.

       Averaging over ten wins a season since 2010, Bob Jones has gone a combined 55-15. Their 79.0% winning percentage ranks 2nd in Class 7A over the past six seasons.

       Over the past 25 seasons, Bob Jones has managed to compile a record of 147-128. Their 54.0% winning percentage ranks 17th in Class 7A and 143rd in the AHSAA.

       The Patriots are led by head coach Kevin Rose who is entering his seventh season at the helm. He has compiled a record of 66-17 over the past seven seasons at Bob Jones. Under his direction the Patriots have qualified for the playoffs a total of seven times. They have won six region crowns with Coach Rose.

       Coach Rose's overall record as a head football coach in fourteen seasons stands at 109-52 (67.7%). His 109 wins rank 45th among active coaches in the AHSAA.       The Bob Jones Patriots will play in Class 7A region 4 during the 2016 season.

       The Patriots should be considered one of the favorites for the Region 4 championship this season and a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

       The Patriots open the 2016 season at home against non-region opponent Dorman SC on Friday, August 19 at Madison City Schools Stadium.

       Bob Jones and Dorman SC have met a total of 1 times on the football field. The Patriots have a 1-0-0 record against Dorman SC. They last met in 2016 with Dorman SC winning by a score of 28-17.

       Bob Jones returns 7A All-State Senior defensive back A.J. Harris. He was named to the first team last season. The Patriots also return Senior quarterback Brady Polson. He was named to the honorable mention team. The Patriots also return Senior offensive lineman Tucker Walters. He was named to the second team.

  








Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Parrish scored a record 77 points in a playoff game against Cedar Bluff in 2001. The Tornados were shutout the following week 19-0 by Courtland.
