            Hill was named All-Confederate Conference, All-State, Honorable Mention All-Southern, Class AA Lineman of the Year. He also played basketball. He played varsity football three seasons and was co-captain as a senior.

Etowah defeated Oxford 69-63 in 1991 to set a state record for most points scored by both teams in a playoff game.
