 High School Bio:

            Daniels was named All-City two years All-State, Honorable Mention Teen Magazine All-Southeastern; All-America in football, All-City and All-District. He was All-Tournament in basketball and East-West All-Star in baseball. He was regular right halfback, occasionally moving to fullback on three brilliant Colonel teams. He carried 97 times last season for 593 yards and a 6.1 average and performed kickoff, punting, field goal and conversion chores. Auburn signed him but baseball scouts wanted him too.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
