            2014 Class 1A state back of the year at Phillips High, helping the Bears to the first 10 win season in school history, three-time all-state selection, North-South All-Star Game, also lettered in basketball and track and field, member of SGA and Beta Club.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
