 High School Bio:

            Josh would set a state record for receiving yards with 4,272 in his four year career at Cedar Bluff. He caught 218 passes and scored 43 touchdowns. In a game against Westbrook Christian he would catch 11 passes for 273 yards. In a game against Parrish he gained 281 yards on 13 receptions in 2001. Against Valley Head in 1999 he caught 10 passes for 210 yards. His three games with 200 yards receiving are another state record. As a senior he caught 66 passes for 1,266 yards, as a junior he caught 59 passes for 1,099 and as a sophomore he caught 52 passes for 1,085 yards. On defense he made 109 tackles and collected four interceptions at defensive back.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
