            Brandon completed 191 of 288 passes for 2,725 yards as a junior at Hewitt-Trussville. As a senior he surpassed those totals by completing 233 of 329 passes (70.8 percent) for 2,887 yards and 27 touchdowns. As a senior, completed 233-of-329 passes (70.8 percent) for 2,887 yards and 27 touchdowns ... Completion percentage of 70.8 was a Class 6A state record ... During his career, he completed 424-of-617 passes (68.7 percent) for 5,417 yards and 50 touchdowns. His also set a state record with a career .687 completion percentage. Brandon was a four year starter at Hewitt-Trussville.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
