Brandon caught 71 passes and set a state record with 1,735 yards receiving. He also scored 30 touchdowns for another state record, breaking a record held by Ozzie Newsome of Colbert County. His 51 career touchdowns tied the state record set by Butch Box in the 1970s. He set state records with 311 yards receiving and six touchdowns in a game against Donoho. He would finish his career with 151 catches for 3,370 yards.
