 High School Bio:

            Bowens played both wide receiver and defensive back during his high school career at Brooks. He caught 58 passes for 810 yards and 14 touchdowns and returned four punts for touchdowns as a senior. He averaged 12 tackles a game and returned two interceptions for touchdowns. He also scored on a pair of fake field goals.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
