 High School Bio:

            Powell was instrumental in leading Greenville to a 12-1 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state playoffs. He passed for over 500 yards, averaging 21 yards per completion and six touchdowns. He also rushed for more than 600 yards, averaging six yards per carry and seven more touchdowns.
