 High School Bio:

            Willis threw for 2,215 yards and 21 touchdowns at Mortimer Jordan High School. He passed for nearly 400 yards in one game and five touchdowns in another as his school went 9-3. He overcame a rough junior season when his team finished the year at 0-10.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
