            Played noseguard and offensive guard for three seasons at Lee and was named a team captain. He was also named All-City two years and participated in wrestling and track.

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
