 High School Bio:

            Lewis had 1,150 yards of total offense as a senior at T.R. Miller. He punted for a 46 per punt average and completed over 50 percent of his passes. He was named All-American, All-State, State Sweet 16 member and Top 10 Prospect List in Alabama. He was team captain and played baseball, track and basketball at Miller.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
