            Played quarterback on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned Most Improved (1976), Mr. Hustle (1978), All County (1978), All State First Team Birmingham Post-Herald, and All American Student Athlete. Completed 97 passes, 15 touchdowns, 108 tackles, and rushed for 536 yards.
