            Played end and safety on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned All-TVC, All-Area, All-North Alabama Split End, Second Team All-State Split End, First Team All-State Safety, and Super All-State. Received 39 passes for 780 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
