            Played halfback on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned All-County, All-Area, and Second Team All-State. Rushed for 3,000 yards in 3 years and specialized in punt returns.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
