 High School Bio:

            Played on the varsity football team for four seasons at Excel and was a team captain. Earned honorable mention All-State, All Monroe County and All-Area honors. He caught 21 passes for 389 yards and scored six touchdowns his first year.

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
