High School Bio: Brighton High School Tackle played four years of varsity football. His specialty was punting. He was chosen All-County Tackle his junior and senior years; Outstanding Lineman by Grid Forecaster and by his coaches and teammates. He averaged seven tackle per game, threw the key block on six touchdowns plays.

Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
