 High School Bio:

            Dothan High School back played three years of varsity football and was Captain of his team. He was Most Valuable Player in football his senior year and Most Offensive Back his junior year. He also played basketball and ran track. In basketball he was voted Most Valuable Player in his senior year; Most Valuable on defensive his junior year. His specialty was kicking punts.

The first football game played by a high school team in Alabama was in 1892 when Central Birmingham (Phillips) lost to Alabama 56-0 on November 11.
