 High School Bio:

            Vardaman played defensive end and running back as a senior at Selma. He gained over 100 yards rushing in six games as a senior. He also scored eleven touchdowns. He played football for four seasons and was captain of his team. He was voted Most Valuable Player, was named Back of the Week, Coaches All-Staters, was a member of the AP All-State team and received a Grant- Aid to the University of Alabama. During his senior year, he gained 609 yards rushing, and scored 11 touchdowns, four of these on passes. He also participated in track.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Clay County shutout an amazing eleven opponents in 1996. The Panthers outscored their opponents 613-42 finishing the season 15-0.
