 High School Bio:

            An excellent place kicker for Sidney Lanier High School. He operated well as a guard or center. He was captain of his team in 1962. He was All-State Honorable Mention. He played baseball and basketball in addition to football.

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
