 High School Bio:

            Co-Captain for University Military. He was All-Mobile County Championship Conference Offensive Center for 1962, Offensive and Defensive Center in 1963, All-Gulf Coast Conference for 1963, All-State, Birmingham Post-Herald Lineman of the Week in 1962. He played 4 years of varsity football and was also an excellent baseball catcher.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
