            Green County Highs Tackle was best on Defense. He was named All Conference, 2 years; Honorable mention, All State. 4 years. varsity football. He also participated in Track and was outstanding in basketball: Outstanding player Warrior Conference 1960-62; All Conference 1960-61-62; All 3rd District 1961-62.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
