            Ritter was named All-City, All-Conference, All-State; Also ran track, captained track squad District champion in 100 and 220-yard dashes; Caught 13 passes for 326 yards, scored five touchdowns for 30 points; Outstanding downfield blocker with quick hands and fine speed.

Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
