2026 Head Football Coaching Changes

Weaver
Ken Cofer was not able to complete the 2025 football season as the head coach at Weaver. After three games Michael Spurling stepped in as the interim head coach to finish the season for the Bearcats. Weaver has struggled recently to field a consistent winner on the football field. Their last winning season was under Coach Daryl Hamby in 2018 when they finished 7-4. Since then the Wildcats have not won a playoff game and will be looking for their fifth different head coach. 2026 Season Logan Brooks will be the next head football coach at Weaver for the 2026 season. He most recently served as the Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach at Excel High School. Brooks was also previously at Escambia County as an assistant.
