Charles Moody Jr. leaves Southside after seven very successful seasons and at the height of that success. The Panthers have gone 11-3 and 13-1 the past two years which are the best back-to-back seasons in school history. Both squads reached the semi-finals of the playoffs before losing. He will be moving just up the road to Selma High for the 2026 football season. 2026 Season Josh Thacker is a native of Fayette County and has spent the past two decades in football around the state. He served as the head coach at Pickens Academy and Morgan Academy. | |

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
