Wes Tidwell served as the head coach at Ragland the past five seasons with a record of 31-25. Each of those teams reached the playoffs but only managed to win once during that time. 2026 Season Deondre Woody was approved as the new athletic director and head football coach for the Ragland High School Purple Devils in January. Woody attended Springville High School, graduating in 2014. He arrives from St. Clair County High School where he has served as the inside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator for the Fighting Saints. He also has been at Springville, Etowah and Ashville. | |
