2026 Head Football Coaching Changes

Michael Harper resigned after only two seasons at New Hope with a record of 5-15. He cited family reasons for the resignation in January. 2026 Season Scott Peavey resigned at Etowah to take the head coaching job at New Hope in March. A veteran of thirteen seasons as a head coach, Peavey will be working to improve the football fortunes at his new home. Over the course of his career his teams at Walter Wellborn, Ashville, Madison County and Etowah have produced a record of 73-70. | |
