Scott Basden retires after 26 seasons as a head football coach. His teams at Parrish, Cordova and Muscle Shoals accumulated 239 victories in those 26 years along with 42 playoff wins. While he was unable to lead the Trojans to a coveted state championship he did win one at Cordova in 2007. His 18 years at Muscle Shoals produced 170 wins and eight region championships. 2026 Season Michael Darden spent the last five seasons as the Trojans' offensive coordinator before landing the head coaching job in April. Darden has been coaching for 18 years with previous assistant coaching jobs at Oxford and Arab. | |

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
