Michael Easley stepped down as the head football coach at Munford in December. His record over the seven seasons he spent leading the program produced a 25-46 record with just a single playoff appearance. Only one of his teams won more games than they lost. The Lions have not won a playoff game since 2015 when they finished 10-4 with a loss in the third round. 2026 Season Darrell Smith is a former Lions all-state player and has been hired to take over the head coaching job at Munford. The Lions have suffered through three straight losing seasons but hopes are high of a quick turnaround at the school. | |
